Medical Centre

In the December 2012 newsletter Richard Long wrote:- We give hope to the community as discussions are under way for a medical centre. The existing dispensary does an amazing job with their  limited resources. There is always a queue of people waiting to be seen. They desperately need more facilities, especially a unit with beds so they can keep patients in for observation.  Within two weeks of the newsletter pledges were received to make this dream a reality.  It was only at the beginning of March 2013 that the ground work started and on 4 October 2013 it was completed, equipped and opened. At 9am the very next morning  there were patients sitting in the reception waiting to be seen.
